-- Welcome Back Party Report
Marge Gotro reported on the Welcome
Back Party. They sold 119 tickets and made $36.68 profit.
She reported that everything went well. Suggestions for future
included calling it a welcome back cocktail party so people wouldn't
expect a full dinner, getting mikes so that announcements could be
heard, improving the food service by having a plan for moving people
table by table to the food lines, increase the committee size to
include: menu planning/shopping, food service, setup, cleanup.
The discussion focused on needs for the kitchen which were to be
included in plans for using the funds from last year's bazaar.
These included a new microwave for the kitchen, new sink, larger
refrig., serving tongs and slotted spoons.

year-round renters.
The committee is looking for volunteers to replace the current

chair. He will still work with it, but he needs someone to step
forward to take over for next year.
6. Old Business
-- Clubhouse Guidelines
A revised copy of the checklist was
given to Dennis Catoe today. We are going back to the Board of
Governors to try again to get their endorsement of these guidelines.
-- Party Evaluations
Marge Gotro did a "dry run" on the
party evaluations following the welcome back party. She asked for
volunteers to help refine the checklist. They will start in
January. Jan Booker, Faye Froehlich, and
Ann Cabral volunteered to help.
-- Bazaar Monies
Looking again at how to use Bazaar
monies to improve the clubhouse kitchen, the committee identified the
following items:
Purchase a new Microwave and shelf
Purchase broom/mop/dustpan and hooks to hang them on.
Develop a storage area/cabinet for plastic bags/bucket etc.
Buy utensils, cutting boards, cookie sheets
While these items can simply be purchased, we need some people to do
the legwork and get prices on the bigger items: Kitty and Kay
will look at sinks. Marge Gotro and Pat Hodor will look at
refrigerators.
Virginia Smith asked if there was
interest in having another quilt raffle next year. The reaction
was that we might have one in conjunction with a craft or bake
sale. More discussion will be needed.
