At its meeting on January 26, 2007, the Board of Governors approved the formation of the Exterior Paint Committee.
This excerpt from the minutes of that meeting summarize the purpose of the committee:

B.  Exterior Painting of Buildings

Vince O'Connor moved that the Board of Governors appoint a committee to explore options for the painting of Golfview's buildings and report back to the Board by April, 2007 with recommendations that include:

•options for colors,
•ideas for painting schemes, and
•procedures for approving painting plans

which will guide the Board and Building Associations for the next round of exterior painting.

      Leo Prosperi seconded the motion.

Discussion involved the role of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) in this process.  It was agreed that a separate committee should develop the recommendations for review by the ARC.

Motion passed by voice vote, 9-0.
Tom Duffey immediately appointed Vince O'Connor and Ed Davis as co-chairs of the committee and asked them to find volunteers to serve on the committee.
