| Interview Say Hello to Peg

The next time you stop at the office to pay your fees, take a moment to meet secretary Peg Rosema. Her friendly greeting will make it a little less painful to part with that check. Peg came to Florida about 15 years ago from Spring Lake, Michigan, joining her son who had recently moved to Fort Myers. Having been a widow for five years, she was ready for a new direction and soon took a job at a real estate office. “Then a friend of mine, who worked at Creciente Condos on the beach told me that their managers, Dennis Catoe and Diana Moore, were seeking a secretary,” Peg explained. “I then worked for them for about five years. Later, new managers took over at Creciente, and I retired briefly. But when Dennis offered me this job, I was happy to step right in. I knew the work before I even started.” Peg is interested in a variety of things, but travel, auctions, reading and music have to take a back seat to her job right now. She is active in social and card clubs and is a member of American Business Women’s Association. You might also catch a glimpse of her ushering at the Barbara Mann Theater. Just look for the lady with the friendly smile. |
