| To Mary Ann Little’s Friends at Golfview The prayers, love, cards, meals, soups, bread, cookies, the many calls of concern and the kindnesses shown personally are much more than a mere “Thank You” can express. The generosity of donations to the wonderful work of Hope Hospice has been and still is overwhelming. But as remarkable as it all has been it is really a demonstration of how heartwarming and kind the people of Golfview are. So many of you were there when we needed you and the prayers that were given made the difficult road to travel so much more bearable. As a result of the loving effort made by so many people, the building collections and the mailed-in gifts to Hope Hospice from Golfview has currently totalled $1,650. This money is being used for the much needed work of the staff and volunteers at Hope Hospice and for an engraved large brick along the lake pathway as well as her name engraved on the large symbolic Butterfly Memorial on the outside of the Hope Hospice Administration Building. When you can, please stop by and see these memorials which should be completed by the end of April. Mary Ann was truly dedicated to getting things done and right at Golfview. She asked not for any glory or recognition, but was truly pleased to be able to help us grow and enjoy each other. She will be missed in so many ways. |
A special thanks to each of her
children, Debbie, Karen, and Joe and to the others who travelled long
distances to be here for the memorial services. Also to Chaplain
Ed Ravish, Gloria Gaynor, Doug Gotro, Debbie Little and my son, David,
who each contributed so much. It was a real tribute with over 200
attending. My heartfelt gratitude to all of you who have been our friends and family throughout this time. I feel sure that Mary Ann can look down upon us with her big brown eyes and her ever present smile, and she would say, “God Bless You, Each One!” Love, Dick (Dick Marshall) |
