The 2008 Inverness Golf Tournament
			The Putting Contest A Putting Contest was held before the players went out to play. You didn't have to play in the Tournament to enter the contest. The Inverness 2008 Golf Outing Dinner



		A Special thanks to the 2008 Committee for such a great tournament and wonderful dinner. Betty Eisenberg wasn't on the committee, but purchased all the delicious pulled pork. To all who the rest of the meal, the potatoes, green beans etc. thanks for a job well done. The Entertainement Due to the lack of a TV for our special yearly skits, Leo stepped up to fill void with his version of the Elderly Wed Game. Three couples were selected and asked questions just like the old Newly Wed Game. Thanks to the couples who were great sports and to the Winners, John and Donna Wasem.

	Game Night Pot Luck February 23, 2008 Everyone brought an appetizer and some games to play Leo was the master game teacher getting people to play 99 and something dealing with a PIG. The PIG game had people squealing, laughing and otherwise caused them to have a good time. Special thanks to Gene Penix for the Pictures

Pot Luck Dinner January 24, 2008 There were 26 people for our January Pot Luck. Afterwards, just about everyone stayed and played cards of some form. Our Next Pot Luck Dinner will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008

Men's Lunch January 2008

Howard took a poll of the men on which day would be the for our luncheons. It seems that Thursdays will be the chosen day for us to eat.

The men went to lunch at the Bonita Bills Resturaunt in
Fort Myers. The resturaunt is located under the bridge on the Fort Myers side.

You Turn right and then a quick left just before you go over the bridge.

		A Special Thanks to: Mr. Christmas for all his prep over the summer to make sure all the lights work. Dick for getting all the electrical ready for the lights. The "circle girls" for purchasing and putting up the new wreaths. Anne for putting together the hoagie feast. And to all who helped putting up the lights etc. to make our building look the best at Golfview!

	We had a special suprise dessert. A Birthday cake with the large number 80 on the Cake! We had a group who turned 80 this year! Bill Sherry, Bob Morin. Leo Czarnik Howard Aschburne, George McIlroy and Walter Wiegele In addition, Leo and MaryAnn celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary! Congratulations! How do you do it MaryAnn? Ed DeCrosta gave a short demonstration on the Inverness's web page. The demonstration was given on the new TV in the clubhouse.

On clear evenings, you may hear a group from the 4th floor
toasting the setting sun, just as you find groups all over the world
on beaches, raising their glasses to drink to the end of anyother
perfect day.

Everyone is invited to come up to the 4th floor and join the impromptu party. Bring your favorite drink and join in the fun.

Golf Outing Pictures 2007



		The Inverness Golf Outing was held on Thursday March 22nd. A Special thanks to the committee who did a great job planning and running the tournament. 2008 Golf Committee The Committee for the 08 Golf Outing was announced. The new members for next year are: Maureen and Tom Revie Charles and Patsy Webb Mary Jo Walther Margaret Thornton


		A special thanks to Gene Penix for providing the pictures of the golf dinner and Ed DeCrosta for the pictures of the tournament. In addition, an special oscar to all our actors in our skits this year. Keep sending golf jokes to Ed DeCrosta. That's where the ideas come for our skits. Congratulations to all the Winners! Tree Lighting 2006



	Tree lighting ceremony at Inverness. A specail thanks to Anne and Donna for putting together the food for our ceremony. Also a special thanks to Dick and John for all work they did getting the electrical ready for the lights. A special "thank you" to John for all the time he took over the summer to make sure that all those little white lights, lit when we connected pulled the switch.
