The Dumpster at the southwest corner is looking shabby again. It seems that people need another reminder that this dumpster is for BURNABLE trash only. The bike clearly does not fit that description. A closer look revealed a discarded printer and a ceramic table lamp. Instructions for disposing of unwanted items that are not burnable can be found on page 13 of your telephone directory. |

The area to the south of the maintenance building on the southwest corner of the property, is begining to look like someone's home away from home. Just because it not as visible to the person walking or driving by, doesn't change the fact that this junk needs to be disposed of in a proper fashion and not left around to attract various pests. |

This caught my eye at the southwest end of the tennis courts. I had heard that over the last couple of months someone had pushed the gate in (presumably to play tennis) making the padlocked latch innefective. Apparently, our workers have improvised a slightly more secure way to urge users of the court to enter through the gate near the pro shop. |

On a much more positive note, these holiday decorations caught my eye and may be deserving of special mention when discussing our buildings' efforts to reflect a holiday spirit this year. At the right, I thought it was a nice touch to incorporate the building's bench (usually in use near the elevator for the comfort of those who need to wait for their neighbors to gather). |

This little bird (probably a cousin of the one on the bench) has a cute little touch. He's holding (or being held up by) a ball retriever. Neat idea!! I just hope that the donor doesn't lose too many balls out on the course before the decorations get dismantled next month. |
