We'll be documenting progress on the Golfview Pools during the resurfacing project that began on January 21, 2008.

The work began on the pool near the corner by Glen Abbey and Turnberry on April 14th.  Here are some pictures to help you keep track of the progress:

May 23, 2008
We thought they'd finish today, but the logo still needs a
little work.  There's a party being planned for the weekend.

Almost done!!!  Still some work on the logo and as you
 can see above, a little border work remains.

A little rain shower set them back a bit today (5/20), but as you can see, the blue edging is now in place.


These pics (right and below) were taken yesterday as the work on resurfacing the pool near the corner by Glen Abbey and Turnberry was begun.

The workers set a border around the edge between the fence and the bushes and laid down some forms to contain some of the graphics that will enhance the appearance of the deck.

A reliable source indicates that work on the deck of the pool near Turnberry and Glen Abbey will begin on May 19th and will take three days.

The water is in.  The furniture is back in place.  Rumor has it that the resurfacing will begin on May 15th.  Watch this space for pics.

Day 52:  March 12, 2008

The pools passed inspection and we have been granted a variance for the surface.  At LAST!!!

Day 50:  March 10, 2008
The newly fabricated ladder arrived today and was being installed late in the afternoon.  Let's all keep our fingers crossed!!


Day 36:  February 25, 2008

Furniture is in place; water is ready; depth markers and "No Diving" tiles are in place.  Can we pass inspection on Wednesday?  Let's hope.




Day 33:  February 22,  2008

Uh, oh.  Some problems with the inspection.  Stay tuned for more information.

Day 32:  February 21, 2008

It seemed as though the pools were finished, late on Thursday, 2/21.  The resurfacing was complete, the furniture had new "legs" installed.  All we needed was for the pool to pass inspection.
