On the Northwest corner...a new look along Swan Ct.
|

The black chain-link fence is placed well back from our walkway and
between two "berms" that should controll run-off from storms.
|

|

(The black environmental barriers are now gone.)

Their street sign is in.
Village Edge Circle is the name of the road.
|

(Above) you can see the new columns on Pinehurst. They were
able to save the columns by putting wire mesh over the styrofoam and
then applying several layers of stucco.
(Right) you can see the new columns on Glen Abbey. They were
able to rebuild the columns with foam and have put wire mesh over the
styrofoam. They will soon be applying several layers of
stucco.

Close up of the nice "caps" and the wire mesh at Glen Abbey.

Styrofoam columns waiting for placement at Glen Abbey.

New street signs will make
Hole-In-One Cir easier to find.
|

New canopies on the buildings
include Name and Address!!

Above you can see the new view
from Lakewood Blvd as the road truns
toward Gladiolus. They are clearing the area for a
"grocery-based" shopping center. Now the approach to Gladiolus is
much
safer since we can now see the bike/jogging path as we come up to the
stop sign. Virtually all trees between Lakewood and Winkler have
now been removed.
Expect the new stores to be under construction in May.
|

|

Meanwhile over on Summerlin, between Lakewood and Gladiolus, the land
that was cleared over a year ago is still designated for a hotel and
up-scale commercial space...
|

...but now sports a new sign for residential. Supposedly a mix of
condos and homes called Reflection Key.
